Staying at The Quay Hotel in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Traveling in Cambodia
View over the Mekong River from The Quay Hotel in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Sep'2010 In the late afternoon I enjoyed a cocktail and a snack at the rooftop bar "Chow" at The Quay Hotel. What else to say that I really enjoyed the view and drinks! The Quay Hotel is a bit overpriced boutique hotel of the FCC group. It is a boutique hotel along the riverside with 12 (or 16?) rooms. The front rooms (suites with bathroom with bathtub) have private balcony overlooking the river (great sunset). The backside rooms (bathroom with shower only) are smaller and do not have a real window. The rooms are modern and comfortable with all the luxury you need. I like this hotel, but it is a bit overpriced. They have free Wifi and Lan, jacuzzi on the roof-top and of course no parking. They serve a good but a bit weird breakfast. On the roof-top they also have a lounge bar. Great to sit there late in the afternoon and overlook the river. A favourite spot of mine. Website : The Quay Hotel.
