Staying again at Glacier Hotel in Khon Kaen

Jan.2011 A few weeks ago I did stay at this hotel and many things went wrong, so much that I thought I should tell the management of the hotel. Most times it seems that the management does not care about their customers but at least the General Manager of Glacier Hotel in Khon Kean does care! Within 24 hr I did receive a email reply with a excuse for all that went wrong and with the free offer to give the hotel a second try. And I must say "Very well done, Sir".

When I called the hotel they knew my name, when we arrived at the hotel they knew what to do and the front-desk was more as very polite and correct. We had a much better room (back side so no noise from the pubs). Everything was in working order. So we enjoyed our big bathroom with bathtub and view to look TV and later at night a good night sleep on the huge super-king-sized bed. We were also invited for a buffet dinner, which costs only 250 Thai baht a person for the International buffet and 450 Thai baht for the International + Seafood buffet. And again I must say, it was done much better as the last time (although I think they were a bit short on staff). A good choice of Thai, Western and Japanese food. And we enjoyed toooo much wine.
