Staying at hotels at Sukhumvit Soi 20/1 in Bangkok

Soi 20/1 of Sukhumvit road is a short dead-end soi so no traffic, but also no parking. It is only a few minutes walking from the Skytrain. I stayed in both hotels mid 2011.

Queen Lotus Guesthouse See Queen Lotus GH (I think it is closed)
All of the about 30 rooms are simple but big and clean with airco and private bathroom with shower. Of course no swimming pool. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have a restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Take a good look because not all rooms are the same. Not sure why they call themselves a Guesthouse ... Hotel would fit very well.

Drop Inn See Drop Inn Bangkok
It is a small boutique hotel with a bit small but nice decorated rooms. Of course no swimming pool. Price is incl. breakfast in their restaurant. I find it a bit expensive for the small rooms you get.

Update 2018 : This little soi has changed a bit and not for the better with some bars.
