Staying at Keaw Anongburi Resort in Wang Nam Keaw

Hotel Reviews Thailand

Jan'2011 Located near Thap Lan National Park, with a price tag of 2.000 - 2.500 Thai baht. Traveling to Khorat via route 304 we always just pass Wang Nam Keaw, sometimes we stop for a lunch but that is it! This time we decided to stay for 1 night and in our search for a nice resort we saw many old looking, staff-unfriendly and still expensive resorts. But not in this resort! So we left route 304 at "Wat Phu Phai" (coming from Khorat on your left hand side) and followed that road until it looks like the road goes into a lake (about 10km from route 304) but the road turns sharp right and after about 500m there is a dusty road to the left (with many signs of resorts going left, ahead and right). You follow this dusty road until you think it is the end. Here you go left again and on you right end is paradise.

A brand new resort with 12 bungalows in a beautiful garden with a stunning sun-set view over the valley of Wang Nam Keaw. All rooms have TV, Airco, fan, mini-bar, private bathroom with shower and your own private balcony to sit outside and enjoy the view. Although it is a small resort they have a restaurant (but it is only open in the weekend). But in the morning they serve a small breakfast with toast & jam, orange jus, tea or coffee and and a very good Khao Tom. There is free Wifi, that works even in your room! See Keawanongburi Resort
