Eating at Tang Aroy Restaurant in Pattaya

A typical Thai restaurant serving Thai and Thai-Chinese food. When living in Pattaya we would eat here at least once a month, but since living in Khon Kaen we eat here only maybe once a year. It is a open-air restaurant located at the corner of Soi 16/2 of Naklua road and it does look really Thai-Chinese with TL-light, open kitchen and formica tables. And of course TV. But the food is really great and clean. My favorites are "Duck in black sauce with peper" and "Tahoe in herbs soup". And of course it is not expensive. An average dinner for 2 persons would be about 400 - 500 Thai baht (incl. drinks like a beer).

Update Feb'2015:
This is a restaurant where we have been many times and always enjoyed it. But due to the upcoming tourism in Naklua the restaurant upgraded and lost its charm of being a simple restaurant. The last time we did eat here we had to wait 45 min for our food while there were only 2 other tables with people eating. I do not think we will come back here.
