Staying at 2 hotels in Pattaya

Aya Boutique Hotel
Formerly known as Fraser Suites Hotel, although I thought their price of 2.200 Thai baht was a bit steep (in compare of the 1.500 Thai baht that I paid 2 years ago) I took it as I was tired of driving to Pattaya. I still do like the room design although the bathroom is a bit small or actually very small. And seeing the "wear & tear" on floor and lobby furniture I did already know that it would be the last time I would stay here. And that was confirmed the next morning when my room for 2.200 Thai baht was without breakfast. With some complain the manager took the best & easy what and offered me a  free breakfast. The buffet breakfast was never a real good one here but also here they had find a way to minimize that so a retail price of 280 Thai baht is really outrages. So I checked-out after my breakfast.

Sun City Hotel 
Located at Pattaya Tai. The first thing I noticed that it was full of tour-groups from India and China. The not so friendly lady at the front-desk did give me price-list of the rooms. They only had a "Deluxe" room available at 4.000 Thai baht. But after asking there was 50% discount so the "Deluxe" room would be 2.000 Thai baht including breakfast. But the busy tour-groups and unfriendly front-desk lady made me look for another hotel.
