Lunch at Food-court at Central Plaza in Khon Kaen

Dec'2011 Well it is not really a restaurant but a food-court like you see so many in Thailand. This one is at the 4th floor of the new shopping mall "Central Plaza" in Khon Kaen. Food court? Yes, a place with different kitchens and a common places to sit & eat. Originally in the open air but nowadays actually every shopping mall, gasoline station or big supermarket has one. Before you make your choice of food you buy a coupon to pay for the food. As a small remark if you think that this coupon system is there to help the vendors then you are wrong. It is to help the owner of the food-court to take commission from the vendors after they have already paid their monthly fee. But that is an all other story. The good thing about the indoor food-courts is that they have access to clean water for food and cleaning. So it is a clean and hygienic to eat.  The food-court here has about 8 different open kitchens and serving dishes like Phad Thai, Noodle soup, Fried rice and many more Thai dishes. It is simple food, some a little bit better as others.
