Dinner at Ruang Fai Kham Restaurant in Chiang Khan

Ruang Fai Kham Restaurant in Chiang Khan - Thailand
March 2012 Located opposite soi 14 (riverside) with outdoor seating only. Serving Thai food. The restaurant was recommend to us by the hotel and we did even get a 10% discount coupon (same owner?). So we walked down the street and took a river-side table on the open-air first floor. You can sit down-stairs and even on a kind of veranda at the river-side, but there was a big group of noisy Thai who discussed that "both man and women where OK".

I did order "Chicken with cashunuts" and my wife did order an "Tom Yam Kung". And as my wife always has bigger eyes as place to eat she also did order an "Fried fish with garlic". I had a fruit juice to drink and my wife Leo beer. As always I did get the beer and my wife the fruit juice. The staff was friendly and attend. All the food was good, the service great and the atmosphere very nice, with a romantic candle light and a cool breeze from the Mekong river. Highly recommended. We did return here many times and it still is good. Be aware that the trees in front of the restaurant did grown a lot and the place looks a bit different now.
