Staying at Seven Zea Chic Hotel in Pattaya

May 2012 Another brand new hotel along Soi 5 of beach road in Pattaya. So indeed just 50 m walking from the beach road. The hotel is not too big wit only 7 floors. The staff was friendly and service minded and as the room was free already we could check-in early. The hotel has private indoor parking (but very small) and outdoor parking opposite the hotel. The all hotel and rooms are very light decorated (everything is white and light wood). The room was comfortable and the bathroom had bathtub with shower. The hotel has a restaurant where they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. And the food is good but a bit expensive. Rooms are sold with or without breakfast. The best things about the hotel are the location and the small but great swimming pool on the rooftop of the hotel. As long as there is no building being build in front of it, it is a great place to watch sunset, have a drink and relax. As we did and enjoyed it very much.

Room tip:
The sea-side rooms on the lower floors do not have sea-view but tree-view.
The sea-side rooms are the all day in the full sun and the front of the room is all window. So before leaving your room close the curtains otherwise your room is not a sauna but a oven. Good that the airco works very well.

Update at Feb. 2013
Well, due to staying a few more times in this hotel and with totally different experience I am changing my mind about this hotel.

I did stay here with a friend (2 rooms) for 3 days and our rooms were NEVER cleaned. And we had to ask & get clean towels ourselves. And my wife did stay at this hotel last week and she was given a dirty room! Forget to clean? Or just too bloody lazy? Or you just give dirty or bad rooms to "thai girls"?
