A lot of Budha's in Vientiane, Laos

Wat Si Saket in Vientiane, Laos
Here a serie of photos from the past, called Blast From The Past. The Wat Si Saket in Vientiane (Laos) is my favourite temple. End 1990's I did visit Vientiane a few times, this photo is probably made in 1998. In those days this temple was not yet overrun by tourists and not yet tidied up to make it more "beautiful". So in a corner of the temple were many broken Buddha images just piled up. This temples is one of the only temples that was not destroyed during wars with Thailand or during the communist take-over of Laos.
