Having lunch at Phet Restaurant in Vientiane, Laos

Phet Restaurant in Vientiane, Laos
Sep'2012 MakPhet Restaurant is located at a small quite street behind the "Wat Ong Teu" and serving traditional Lao food. Some dishes are spicy, but most are not. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, but no air-con. The restaurant is a setup to give young Lao students a new chance in life. The staff was friendly and the food was good, although not really my kind of food. I loved the traditional way of setup of the restaurant, it makes you feel to be in Laos instead like one of the many other western look-a-like restaurants that are becoming more and more popular in Vientiane now. Have a look at MakPhet Vientiane

Update March 2015
I heard that they moved a few streets (although on the "old" place is also still a restaurant).
