Dinner at Refill Restaurant in Khon Kaen

Nov'2012 The restaurant & pub is located along the road behind "Khon Kaen RAM hospital" (going to the KKU) and is about 100m next to "Wine Together". It is in the typically modern Thai style of pub's and restaurants with indoor & outdoor seating in an garden setting. And of course there is live music.

They do serve Thai food and many beers. That was actually the reason to go there, as I was told they would have 80 different kinds of beer. Well 80 is a bit too much, but at least about 30. Like Leffe, Paulner, Kwak, Erdinger and of course Heineken, Leo and Chang Export. Well I am not a beer drinker, but my wife enjoyed it.

The live music was good with guitar, singing and saxophone, I loved it! And in a level that we could still talk to each other. We ordered Duck with vegetables, mini-spare-ribs Isaan style and an Thai curry. The was quickly served and it was good. The staff seems still to be in a bit of learning curve with ordering beer and other drinks, but all was ok. We paid 870 Thai baht for 3 dishes, rice, 2 import-beers and 1 Vodka-tonic. The drinks were a bit expensive but the food was not.
