Travel Tips : Traveling Beyond the Highlights at Home Stay Hill Top in Nan

FIT traveling in Thailand

Two days of exploring the remote mountains of Nan province, bordering Phayao province. From Nan city via a scenic local route to a Mien Hill-tribe village in the mountains. From there you take a 4WD truck for the last 10 km to the Home-Stay almost on the ridge of the mountains. The Home-Stay is at 1600m high between the coffee plantations. Very early in the morning you start hiking to the Hill-Top for a stunning sunrise view and simple breakfast with fresh made coffee. During rain or bad weather the road to the Hill-Top might not be safe to drive. Accommodation & bathroom at Home-Stay are very basic. Food for lunch / dinner / breakfast is local Thai food. Limited luggage to Hill-Top Home-Stay. Would you like to make a trip like this?
