Staying at Tongtara Riverview Hotel in Bangkok

Tongtara Riverview Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand
My room at Tongtara Riverview Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand

Aug'2013 Located at Charoen krung road, just 700 meters south of Asiatique. It is an older hotel but recently totally renovated. The rooms are big and renovated but not 100% good. Like the bathroom is almost not done, old big TV and no safe in the room. But for the rest all was comfortable and clean. The lobby and restaurant of the hotel is hyper modern renovated and the staff is professional, friendly and service minded. The hotel has free private marking but no swimming pool or free Wifi. I like the location just near the riverside, but I think the rooms are not good enough. On the other hand the hotel is not expensive, so it is actually good value for money. There is not public transport like Skytrain or sub-way nearby, but less as 1 km walking from a pier for the express boat on the Chao Phraya river. See Tongtara Hotel.
