Staying at Cape Dara Resort in Pattaya

Sunset at Cape Dara Resort in Pattaya - Thailand

Sep'2013 Well, I would not call it a resort but a really very great hotel right at the beach. And near but not in Pattaya. We stayed here for 2 days and we loved it! The hotel has 2 buildings, the main building with 24 floors and the Club rooms at the top. The front sea-side building is only 3 floors and has the restaurant "Radius" (for breakfast, lunch & dinner) on top. The staff was very friendly and service minded, although check-in could have been a bit better (faster). The buffet breakfast was really great at the sea-side open-air restaurant and for me it was exactly what I need for breakfast. Good bread, good marmalade, yoghurt and fresh fruit.

We enjoyed the evenings at Infiniti Twinkle swimming pool with a bit swimming and enjoying a cocktail at the pool bar. Although it is a big hotel it did never feel crowded. The only not so good thing was that the bakery is too good so I kept on buying cakes and chocolates! In house drinks & food are not cheap but all very good! In the all hotel there was free Wifi internet, what I think is a big plus for the hotel as some other expensive hotels are still charging customers about 500 Thai baht for internet connection. See Cape Dara Pattaya.
