Having dinner at Sala Lanna Italian Restaurant & Wine bar in Chiang Mai

Oct'2013 Sala Lanna Italian Restaurant & Wine bar is located along the East bank of the  Ping River. Serving Italian style food with a fusion taste. And of course with a great collection of wine ... and also beer. Not cheap but I had one of the best lamb chops I ever had in Thailand! And we consumed a bottle of wine. The staff was friendly and service minded. Food was served in an easy slow way, to enjoy the evening. And that is what we did indeed, with delicious starters, main courses and a lovely dessert. As said already, not cheap but very well worth the money.

The bottle of wine was 1.100 Thai baht, in the low price range of their wine list. My wife had a parma-ham starter as main dish for 380 Thai baht I believe. My main course (lamp chops) was 580 Thai baht, in the high price range of their menu. After the bottle of wine we had 1 extra glass of wine and 1 glass of Amereto. And a sweet chocolate dessert. Total damages was just under the 3000 Thai baht. The restaurant is part of a lovely boutique hotel along the Ping River. For more information see Sala Lanna
