Walking on top of Phu Hin Rong Khla in Loei

Traveling in Thailand
View over Phu Hin Rong Khla in North-East Thailand

Late in the afternoon we made a walk at the "flag pole" area of Phu Hin Rong Khla National Park, the area that was once the home of the Communist Party of Thailand. This is where they raised the flag to show the Thai army they were in controle. We made a short walk of about 2 to 3 km but you can make a little bit longer walk of about 5 km. It is all flat but at some point not really easy walking. At the "end" is a cliff with a very weird moon-like stone formation. Following are much more photos of this stunning place.
