Mural paintings in a centuries old temple in Loei

Mural paintings in a centuries old temple in Loei - Thailand

While traveling off the beaten track in the remote province of Loei I found a small temple in a small village. Although there are signs for this temple it is totally of the tourist track and as I was very early in the morning there we had to ask a monk to open the temple. This is one of the truly amazing places to visit in Thailand.

The temple is said to be centuries old and has beautiful mural paintings on the walls, both inside and outside. Highly recommended!
