Having lunch at Tonyom Restaurant in Hongsa, Laos

April 2015 : Traveling from Sayaboury to the Thai-Lao border at Huai Kon I made a stop at Hongsa for breakfast. On the way I did meet a Lao guy traveling to Chiang Mai for work and he invited me for breakfast at this restaurant of friends of him.

The restaurant is located in center of town .... hard to be missing as the town has only about 6 streets. It is opposite of the BCEL building. A simple open air restaurant serving Lao and Thai style food. Staff is friendly but does not speak one word of English. We had breakfast here and it was good & cheap. And it is open all day from morning until evening.
