Unexpected views in North-East Thailand

Rice fields and mountains in North-East Thailand

The North-East of Thailand has the image of being flat and boring, but when travelling off the beaten track you will find that some parts have beautiful mountains and landscape. Like here near Lam Tha Khlong, where mountains seem to be pushed out of the ground. And small surprises can be found everywhere, like this Jungle Spirit House in the middle of nowhere. No houses or temple nearby.
