A jungle market at Hat Pla Heang

Destination Travel Guide Nan, North Thailand
Hat Pla Heang Jungle Market in Nan

Along the roads in Thailand you will see many small markets, also this small jungle market along route 101 in Nan province, North Thailand where local ladies sell food and fruit. People from nearby mountain villages are selling jungle food like herbs, vegetable and bamboo. What they are selling depends on the season and the weather. It is not really a market to special go to, but if you are passing and you like markets then it makes a nice stop. Of course if it is bad weather or the people in the nearby villages have other things to do then as you guessed the market is closed.  For more information about Nan province see Destination Travel Guide Nan province, North Thailand.
