Shopping at Nan Weekend Market in Nan town

Nan Weekend Market in Nan - Thailand

It was originally called "Walking Street Market", like most cities in Northern Thailand now have a Walking Street Market. And it was originally at the main street of town, but it has moved to the road in front of the Wat Phumin and is hold every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So now it is called "Weekend Market" although it is still a Walking Street as the street is closed for traffic. The first section is all kind of food and at the big square in front of the Wat Phumin there are small tables where you can sit & eat. The second section of the market are local design cloths and souvenirs. And the nice thing is that all nearby temple in historic center of Nan are open until 21:00 and are illuminated in a beautiful glow of light. So a lovely evening out in Nan with nice food.
