The local rice-mill in our village in Nan province
This is where it all starts in 1 of the 3 small rice-mills in our village. The people here produce their own rice from their own rice-field for their own consumption. And for some people in the village that do not have rice-fields. The rice goes in at one side and clean edible rice come out at the other side. There are 2 rest products in the process (husk and bran layers) Both are used again. The rice-mill is run by an gasoline engine. In the old days there would be steam-machines and until a few years ago there were still a few of those steam-machines in working order in Thailand.
