Revenge of the mountains in Nan province

Mudslide in Nan province, North Thailand

It all looks like beautiful nature in Nan province, with rice-fields in the valleys and trees on the mountains. But a lot of mountains have been cleared for corn-fields. And many trees are actually bamboo or rubber-trees. Add to that all the roads that are being build in the mountains you can understand that landslides like this happen many times. This landslide was in 2016. Some small, some big, some are a total disaster. Not much left of the jungle or teak-trees. Yes, we humans are good in destroying mother earth.
