Bicycling in Sukhothai Historical Park

Ancient Temples in Thailand

Last week I was again at Sukhothai Historical Park, the first capital of Siam, as Thailand was named until 1932. You can rent a bicycle to cycle around or you can take the electric tram with a guide. We rented a bicycle and made a 1 hour sight seeing trip in the historical park of Sukhothai. The park is part of what was once the Sukhothai Kingdom and is full with ancient temples and huge sitting & standing Buddha images. Very impressive to see how people could make that without the modern tools like we have now.
