Changing Pattaya

Terminal 21 in Pattaya - Thailand
Last week I was in Pattaya for a few days. It had been about a year ago that I was there and the growing pains of Pattaya are shocking for me. It seems to become a city that never sleeps. Many shops, massage saloons, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, hotels and shopping malls. The newest trend seems to be "Restaurant & Lounge".

And they are building the biggest shopping mall to be in Pattaya ... Terminal 21. In the meanwhile luckily there are still resorts where you can hide away from busy Pattaya but still be right in it if you want it. I prefer to stay in Pattaya Nua (North) or Naklua. So we stayed at "Thai Garden Resort" under German / Dutch management where it was a oasis of peace. Not only thanks to the huge tropical garden but also thanks to the wonderful staff.
