Songran 2017 : In a small village in North-East Thailand

Songkran in Thailand

We went to the home-town of my wife, what is a small village in North-East Thailand. Luckily we stayed at a nice resort with a comfortable room, air-condition and a swimming pool. From there we did visit the village of her parents. All her sisters & brothers had come also this year. So there were actually 2 parties going on, first of all along the street where people played the famous water-party version of Songkran. But at home there was a more family style and traditional style Songkran party. Here some photos of the water-party! Following is a small selection of photos made with my phone while sitting in our car.
