Chinese shophouses on Sumon Therawat road in Nan

Sumon Therawat road in Nan - Thailand

Nan Memories to show you old photos of Nan province and to try to reproduce this photos now. Although not yet a memory (and I hope they will never become a memorie) this wooden Chinese style shophouses along Sumon Therawat road in Nan town are a typically signature of the older streets in Thailand. Of course I know that living in it is a bit less comfortable and maybe the owners would rather have a nice 2 storey cement shophouse, but this kind of wooden shophouses give so much charm to an otherwise not so charming street. There are actually more wooden houses along this street, I will try to make so photos later. For more information about the beautiful Nan province see Destination Travel Guide Nan, North Thailand.
