Travel Tips : Going with the bus from Nan to Luang Prabang (Laos)


20 September 2017 : A update about the bus going straight from Nan (Thailand) to Luang Prabang (Laos). The long wait is over, the bus schedule will start at 1 October 2017! Now Thai people do not need a visa but foreigners do need a visa for Laos. What is not mentioned if there is time to apply for the visa or that you are expected to have a visa already.   • Distance travling is 373 km
  • Leaving Nan at 8:00 and Arriving in Luang Prabang at 16:30
