Travel Tips : Update about the bus from Nan to Luang Prabang (Laos)


19 October 2017 : The new international bus service from Nan to Luang Prabang in Laos that would start at 1 October 2017 will start at 9 November 2017. There will be only 1 bus per day and leaving Nan & Luang Prabang bus station at 8:00am. The full trip costs 660 Thai baht, but Nan - Hongsa costs 320 Thai baht and Nan - Xaraboury costs 480 Thai baht. Passengers will need to have an valid travel document (passport). Update  7 April 2018 : Currently there is only 1 bus available so the route Nan to Luang Prabang is now done every other day instead of everyday. For more information call 1490 or +66.54.710.027
