Reposting from March 2018, a photo I took while walking in the village Ban Khet. Simple live in the village Ban Khet, where the local community of Tai Lue descents is still practising the traditional customs of colouring the cotton that is used to weave traditional Tai Lue cloths. The weaving is also done at home, as you will see when you are walking in the village Ban Khet in Nan province, North Thailand. Nowadays the production is of course mostly for tourists who come visit the famous Wat Phuket, but older people are still wearing their traditional cloths in daily life.
