Here a serie of photos from the past, called Blast From The Past. From1998 when we did stay a few days in Songkhla. It is small town on the east coast of South Thailand about 30 km from Hat Yai. Songkhla town is located on a peninsular between the Gulf of Thailand and Songkhla Lake. The town has a rich history and many small streets and of course beach. Worth visiting is Songkhla National Museum, the formerly residence of the Na Songkhla family. For more information about Songkhla have a look at Wikipedia - Songkhla. Following are some more photo I took in 1998.
