My excuse for this 6 days traveling in Cambodia was my friend Raggy who is besides a great personality also a wonderful musician. Playing guitar, singing the blues and doing live concerts all over South East Asia. Raggy is an entertainer, musician, guitarist-singer-songwriter based in Penang and Kulim, Malaysia. For more information & downloading his music (for free) have a look at Raggy Project. The first performance of the Cambodian tour was at The Magic Sponge Guesthouse in Kampot, a place famous in Kampot for its live music. It was an intimate evening while people were enjoying the evening in the tropical garden. The second performance was at the Moi Tiet Pub, a small pub that is also famous for its live music performances. A total different audience this evening with people dancing. Both were totally different evening but both were fantastic with good music and a lot of good vibes and interaction with the audience.
His last (and imo the best) performance was at Bona's Pub on Str.130 in Phnom Penh. This was actually not really a performance but a free style jamming session with the owner of the pub and some friends. And wow this are all people loving to make music and they are all very good in it. Music from the soul. Unfortunately my camera is not doing well in low light places so the photos are limited and not so good.
