Staying at Ibis Pattaya Hotel

Ibis Pattaya Hotel in Pattaya, Thailand

I had to be in Pattaya for 2 nights so I was looking for a hotel. My demands were simple : Car parking, north side of town, not too expensive and incl. breakfast. I started my search on Agoda as they have a convenient map with all the hotels. So I did find Ibis Pattaya Hotel, not the most luxury hotel but only 1.340 Thai baht incl. breakfast. OK the rooms are a bit small and especially the bathroom is a bit small. If I would be on a 1 week holiday I would choose a different hotel. But the room is good, although the bed is a bit soft for my personal tasting. Ibis Pattaya Hotel has swimming pool, free on-site parking and serves a reasonable good breakfast buffet. And one of the things I liked the most is the efficient checkin and checkout. No difficult questions or whatever. Both took not longer as 5min. And that is very much appreciated by a traveler like me. Prices were not much different so I did choose to use Agoda as I still had some points and could use them now. We had a good stay and in a situation like this I would book this hotel again.

The good things
  • Good value for money
  • Good location, in the city and near the beach road
  • Private parking
Are there remarks to make?
  • For me personally the bed was too soft and the pillows too big
  • The breakfast buffet was a bit basic, but the rooms are also not expensive
