The Rice Field Project Part 22 : The final adjustments and building a wall again

Building our house in Thailand
As part of Living in Thailand, the Rice Field Project follows our journey of buying land, preparing it for building our house and finally building our house. This is part 22, to read the other parts click The Rice Field Project.

So yesterday we did get the final floor-plan design and some 3D pictures of how the house would look like (see photo). Mind you here are still a few minor things not correct. Like the window on the right is to small. And the windows are all same hight as the front door. And the front door is planned to be 2 meter high. That means all windows are also 2 meter, what I find too low. But that are things that can easily be changed later.

In the meanwhile people started to work on the low wall at the rear-end of our land. And as I said this wall is going to be mostly in the ground. To be exactly 50cm into the ground and only 40cm above the ground. With every 2.5m a pole of 1.2m high. The all wall will be 25m long and include 2 chanot poles. Total costs for this will be about 30.000 Thai baht. Normally a wall like that length would be about 10.000 Thai baht cheaper, but there goes a lot of cement, small stones and steel into the ground.
