A walking thru tree in Pua

A huge tree in Pua, Nan - Thailand

Almost along route 101 at the north side of Pua in Nan province, North Thailand is an huge tree where people made a tunnel to walk thru. The sticks are custom to support the tree (you also see this with big rocks). And of course next to the tree is a small spirit house. A bit next to the tree is a new pagoda (see next photo), this as replacement for an old but destroyed pagoda. You can see still the remains of the old pagoda. Although it are just about 20 bricks on the ground. A bit further is supposed to be the remains of an old temple. But that is for next time.  For more information about the beautiful Nan province in North Thailand see Destination Travel Guide Nan - Thailand.
