Lunch at Phu Langkha Le Balcony Restaurant

Traveling in North Thailand

The name Phu Langkha mostly refers to a ridge along route 1148 in the mountains bordering Nan province and Phayao province. From here you have a stunning view over a valley with limestone mountains. And many people travel here to see sunrise. In the old days there was here 1 resort and 1 kind of coffee shop. Now there are a few restaurants, coffee shops, resorts & campings. But it is still a wonderful place to enjoy the view and route 1148 from Nan province to Phayao province is a beautiful route to ride. We had lunch at the new Le Balcony Restaurant, build along the curve in route 1148 and with stunning view. Good food but not cheap, but it is all about location and location. Following are some more photos I did make while enjoying our lunch.
