Typically Dutch food in Rotterdam, Netherland


During my 2019 trip to the Netherlands I of course did eat some typically Dutch food, like poffertjes. It are actually mini pancakes served with butter and powdered sugar. They are sold in restaurants but also at a Poffertjes Kraam like at the photo above at the weekend market in Rotterdam. Poffertjes are freshly made (see photo below). But I did eat them at Pofferjes Salon Seth at the Hoogstraat in Rotterdam, already more as 40 years the best place for poffertjes in Rotterdam (see third photo).





Another typically Dutch food are Stroop Wafels (see photos below), and I did eat 1 huge fresly made stroopwafel at Markus Stroopwafels at the Hoogstraat in Rotterdam.
