Rai Saut Mung Pho Farm & Homestay is located in the mountains of Doi Phu Kha and a bit difficult to find especially with the logo suggesting it is in Pua. Yes, technically it is located in Pua district but in reality it is better to say it is along route 1081 from Bo Klua to Santisuk. And even then you will only see a sign along the road and have to drive a small dirt track (be careful in the rain). But then hidden in the mountains you will find a oase of flowers at this so called Bio Farm where you can enjoy a coffee or a Thai snack while overlooking the stunning views over the mountains of Doi Phu Kha. And in the cool season it is a great place for camping.

Yesterdays moonrise over de the mountains of Doi Phu Kha National Park seen from the balcony of our house. So yes another Balcony Shot! Although the mountains are always the same (at least in my lifetime) they always do look different. I love to watch the mountains!
The Balcony Restaurant is located on a hill between the teak trees and overlooking Nan valley, about 5 km from Nan town. Their speciality is Shabu & Grill. Besides delicious food they also serve hot & cold drinks and of course beer. You pay a fixed price per person and you can eat as much as you like. Beer is of course extra. The Balcony Restaurant is part of a small resort with bungalows between a private teak forrest.

And I am not a medical specialist, so what I am going to write now is based on my own interpretation of the news and medical information that is currently available. The Wat Rung Khun is better know as the White Temple and is located about 13 km south of Chiang Rai town. Although it is a beautiful piece of art, personally I would not call it a temple. I did not see any monks, besides the fact that the main building is housing an beautiful Buddha image. To quote the Wikipedia "It is a contemporary, unconventional, privately owned, art exhibit in the style of a Buddhist temple. It is owned by Chalermchai Kositpipat, who designed, constructed, and opened it to visitors in 1997. " Personally I think it is a bit in Gaudi style and I had the idea to see also some similarities to the Sanctuary of Truth in Pattaya. But well it is beautiful and a great opportunity for making photos and selfies.
