Staying at The Quay Hotel in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Traveling in Cambodia

At September 2010 in the late afternoon I enjoyed a cocktail and a snack at the rooftop bar Chow at The Quay Hotel and I loved it! The Quay Hotel is a bit overpriced boutique hotel of the FCC group. It is a boutique hotel along the riverside with I think 12 rooms. The front rooms (suites with bathroom with bathtub) have private balcony overlooking the river (great sunset). The backside rooms (bathroom with shower only) are smaller and do not have a real window. The rooms are modern and comfortable with all the luxury you need. I like this hotel, but it is a bit overpriced. They have free Wifi and Lan, jacuzzi on the roof-top and of course no parking. They serve a good but a bit weird breakfast. On the roof-top they also have a lounge bar. Great to sit there late in the afternoon and overlook the river. A favourite spot of mine. For more information have a look at their website : The Quay Hotel

One night in Bangkok and the world is your oyster

The journey of Traveling 2 Thailand did begin with One Night in Bangkok in 1985 and since 2009 it became a personal non-commercial travel blog as inspiration for traveling & motorbike riding in Thailand. Made just for the sheer love of traveling and sharing experience about traveling in South-East Asia. To travel beyond the beaten track & highlights. Enjoy!
