Old Chinese shophouses in Malacca, Malaysia

Traveling in Malaysia

In 1998 we travelled from Singapore to Bangkok and made a stopover in Malacca and Malaysia. As I have a special interest in architectural design of buildings and houses I made a lot of photos from old Chinese shophouses. Unfortunately I did never come back to Malacca but I understand the government of Malacca at least did recognise that this old Chinese shophouses are a part of the heritage of Malacca and they are preserved for the future generations to see how people lived in the old days. Following are more photos of beautiful old Chinese shophouses.

One night in Bangkok and the world is your oyster

The journey of Traveling 2 Thailand did begin with One Night in Bangkok in 1985 and since 2009 it became a personal non-commercial travel blog as inspiration for traveling & motorbike riding in Thailand. Made just for the sheer love of traveling and sharing experience about traveling in South-East Asia. To travel beyond the beaten track & highlights. Enjoy!
