Drive & Ride careful on the roads of Thailand

Traveling in Thailand

Photos above was made while on tour in North-East Thailand. This was along a road in the mountains, it makes you think again about the risks of driving & riding in Thailand. It made me think about the people who did bring the drinks here as offer to the spirits of their beloved ones. No this of course was not from an accident that happend recently, although it could be. But sometimes you see this kind of things along highways in Thailand. As warning : Please drive & ride safe! Do not drink alcohol when driving or riding. Travel at a safe speed. And always, always be careful and realise that after every corner / curve there could be a truck standing on the road with problems or a kid playing with a dog. Every day about 50 to 60 people are killed on the roads in Thailand. Do not become a statistic!

One night in Bangkok and the world is your oyster

The journey of Traveling 2 Thailand did begin with One Night in Bangkok in 1985 and since 2009 it became a personal non-commercial travel blog as inspiration for traveling & motorbike riding in Thailand. Made just for the sheer love of traveling and sharing experience about traveling in South-East Asia. To travel beyond the beaten track & highlights. Enjoy!
