In 2012 I made an over-land trip in Cambodia and did stay one night in Kratie, a little town along the the Mekong River. Kratie is also called Kracheh and there are a handful of hotels & guesthouses. And even a French restaurant and some other western oriented pubs and restaurants. It is a nice little town, worth to make a stop-over even if was only to visit the "Mekong Dolphins" of Cambodia. The city centre is basically a huge market and the reason for the existence of the city. I had lunch at this French restaurant & hotel with good food and friendly service.
One night in Bangkok and the world is your oyster
The journey of Traveling 2 Thailand did begin with One Night in Bangkok in 1985 and since 2009 it became a personal non-commercial travel blog as inspiration for traveling & motorbike riding in Thailand. Made just for the sheer love of traveling and sharing experience about traveling in South-East Asia. To travel beyond the beaten track & highlights. Enjoy!
