Having breakfast at Blue Pumpkin Bakery & Lunchroom in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Blue Pumpkin bakery chain that started in Siem Reap and has now about 6 outlets in Phnom Penh and 4 outlets in Siem Reap. And they serve the best cakes, bread a fruit shakes in town. And they are open from 6 in the morning until late in the evening. So it became my favourite place for a late breakfast, the continental "Siem Reap" breakfast with a fresh baked croissant, 2 slices of home-made bread, a pot of Earl-Grey tea, fresh orange juice and home-made jam. And that all for just 3.25us$! The staff is very friendly, service minded and professional. Something you forget is possible when living in Thailand. So for good cake, good bread, good fruit juices & shakes go to Blue Pumpkin. At the riverside branch they have a second (or first) floor with nice view over the river.

Update 2018 : The last time I had breakfast here the service was slow at best, the place did look like going downhill. So the next morning I had breakfast somewhere else. I would not recommend this place anymore.

One night in Bangkok and the world is your oyster

The journey of Traveling 2 Thailand did begin with One Night in Bangkok in 1985 and since 2009 it became a personal non-commercial travel blog as inspiration for traveling & motorbike riding in Thailand. Made just for the sheer love of traveling and sharing experience about traveling in South-East Asia. To travel beyond the beaten track & highlights. Enjoy!
