On the motorbike riding from Chiang Khan to Phetchabun

Motorbike Riding in Thailand

In 2017 I made a motorbike trip from Chiang Khan to Phetchabun. I left as usual early and had breakfast in a nice restaurant behind the PTT Gasoline station at Phu Rua. Nice weather and great views! From here I did travel via some side-trips to Phetchabun. One of the side-trips idea's was to find another road to Phu Hin Rong Khla. The road started as a beautiful tarmac road, then became a beautiful cement road, then became a small cement road, then became a put-holed cement road and then became a gravel road with holes. That was the moment to make a U-turn. I arrived in Phetchabun in the afternoon and did visit the Phetchabun Black Buddha Park. A great place to enjoy sunset and just relax.

One night in Bangkok and the world is your oyster

The journey of Traveling 2 Thailand did begin with One Night in Bangkok in 1985 and since 2009 it became a personal non-commercial travel blog as inspiration for traveling & motorbike riding in Thailand. Made just for the sheer love of traveling and sharing experience about traveling in South-East Asia. To travel beyond the beaten track & highlights. Enjoy!
