Having lunch at Tonyom Restaurant in Hongsa, Laos

April 2015 : Traveling from Sayaboury to the Thai-Lao border at Huai Kon I made a stop at Hongsa for breakfast. On the way I did meet a Lao guy traveling to Chiang Mai for work and he invited me for breakfast at this restaurant of friends of him. The restaurant is located in center of town .... hard to be missing as the town has only about 6 streets. It is opposite of the BCEL building. A simple open air restaurant serving Lao and Thai style food. Staff is friendly but does not speak one word of English. We had breakfast here and it was good & cheap. And it is open all day from morning until evening.

One night in Bangkok and the world is your oyster

The journey of Traveling 2 Thailand did begin with One Night in Bangkok in 1985 and since 2009 it became a personal non-commercial travel blog as inspiration for traveling & motorbike riding in Thailand. Made just for the sheer love of traveling and sharing experience about traveling in South-East Asia. To travel beyond the beaten track & highlights. Enjoy!
