In the early morning of September 2017 Twe went to the Wat Phuket in Pua to make tamboon (offering to the monks). Unfortunately we were just too late to see the sun climbing over the skyline of the Doi Phu Kha mountains. But still a stunning view over the green rice fields in the valley of Pua. Mind you the view did change a bit as we did build our homestay in between the rice paddies. If you like to experience the slow life & culture of Pua in Nan province, then come and stay a few days at Non Na Pua Homestay.
With the name of this temple you might be thinking of a famous beach resort in South Thailand but Phu means mountain and Ket is the name of the village nearby. I love the early mornings in the mountains of Nan in North Thailand. For more information about Nan province have a look at Destination Travel Guide Nan.
