Memories of Pua

View from Pua, Nan - Thailand made in 1985 by Jonathan Stiles

I created Nan Memories to show you old photos of Nan province and to try to reproduce this photos now. The photo at the top was made on a rainy day in September 1985 by Johnathan Stiles while he was working in North Thailand. The photo is probably taken from a view point near the Wat Beng Saket in Pua, Nan province. The photo below was made in 2018 by myself. At the new photo you see much more trees and buildings like in the foreground the Tesco-Lotus. I cropped the new photo so it would look like the old photo. But the angle of the new photo is not completely correct. The road that you see is the road from Pua to Chiang Klang. For more information about Nan province see Destination Travel Guide Nan.

One night in Bangkok and the world is your oyster

The journey of Traveling 2 Thailand did begin with One Night in Bangkok in 1985 and since 2009 it became a personal non-commercial travel blog as inspiration for traveling & motorbike riding in Thailand. Made just for the sheer love of traveling and sharing experience about traveling in South-East Asia. To travel beyond the beaten track & highlights. Enjoy!
