A pitstop in Ayutthaya

Traveling in Thailand
A TukTuk in Ayuthaya, Thailand

Traveling from Kanchanaburi to Chiang Mai we traveled via Ayuthaya, the former capital city of Siam as Thailand was named before 1932. In and around the nowadays modern city of Ayuthaya are many century old temples of what we did visit 2. In Ayuthaya you still see the famous old TukTuk's, a Daihatsu Midget from the sixties of the last century. In the evening we took the night train to Chiang Mai.

Traveling in Thailand

One night in Bangkok and the world is your oyster

The journey of Traveling 2 Thailand did begin with One Night in Bangkok in 1985 and since 2009 it became a personal non-commercial travel blog as inspiration for traveling & motorbike riding in Thailand. Made just for the sheer love of traveling and sharing experience about traveling in South-East Asia. To travel beyond the beaten track & highlights. Enjoy!
