Flying home from Don Muang Airport

Bus to Don Muang Airport in Bangkok, Thailand

I had been for 2 days in Bangkok and that is enough for me, I want to be back again between the green rice fields and mountains of Nan province. So I took the BTS to Mo Chit and the A1 bus to Don Muang Airport. I arrived a bit too early so I had some time to walk around at Don Muang Airport. First of all I am always happy to see the Phu Nan Coffee, where they are selling coffee made from beans from Nan province. Not that I drink coffee. Then just after the security check there is a shop selling doughnuts. And the weird thing is that I always see people in the airplane with boxes of this shop. So I had a look and to my surprise there is always a cue of people waiting to buy overpriced doughnuts. I even tried it once and OK they taste good, but cueing up 10 min and carrying them home in the airplane? No way!

One night in Bangkok and the world is your oyster

The journey of Traveling 2 Thailand did begin with One Night in Bangkok in 1985 and since 2009 it became a personal non-commercial travel blog as inspiration for traveling & motorbike riding in Thailand. Made just for the sheer love of traveling and sharing experience about traveling in South-East Asia. To travel beyond the beaten track & highlights. Enjoy!
